Vintage Faux Jade Owl, Wony Ltd., on Black Lucite Base, Marked
Owl is a two tone faux jade, translucent resin figurine on a black lucite base.  Made in Italy, for Wony Ltd. A collectible 1960's piece made from by Italian artist G. Ruggeri, who also developed the means of mixing alabaster with resin to make it more durable and waterproof.
The statue is in very good condition with some surface marks;  the base has some scratches; the base edges have some tiny fleabites and one chip at a corner (please examine all photos).
A worn green label on bottom of black base is marked:   "Made Exclusively for Wony Ltd., Italy".  There is also  a label with Asian characters.
