Vintage 1956 Lefton Ceramic "WISE OWL BANK" Rhinestone Eyes - - Padlock & Key
Know anyone that is graduating this summer?  This would be a great gag gift for an older graduate or something to help a younger student.
This is a 1956 Lefton ceramic Wise Owl Bank that comes with a small padlock and key to keep his head and body attached.  As shown in the different pictures, this item is copyrighted by Joseph Lefton in 1956 and issued as number 90195.
The are two places where the glazing has flaked off, both on the cap points.  You can easily repair with a black marker or leave the way it is, up to you, I am just letting you know.
He has bright rhinestone eyes and his express is one of "Come on World, I Am Ready".
The bank stands approximately 6 1/2 inches tall and is 3 1/2 inches at the widest point.  The paddock and key will be in a small zip lock bag so as not to get lost.  There is no original packaging with this old Owl.  He will be well wrapped in bubble wrap and boxed for safe shipping.  Shipping weight will be 1 pound 2 ounces and has to be mailed by Priority mail.
