The Thermo Scientific Sorvall Legend X1R Refrigerated Centrifuge delivers temperature-controlled centrifugation in a compact, efficient design. This versatile benchtop centrifuge features a temperature range of -10 to 40°C and can reach speeds of up to 15200 RPM or 25830 x g. Its small footprint allows users to process up to 400 ml in one run, occupying 40% less space than comparable models. Additionally, the X1R consumes up to 40% less energy than conventional tabletop centrifuges, potentially saving your lab up to 15% on energy costs annually.
The Sorvall Legend X1R incorporates SMARTspin Technology, which auto-detects the installed rotor and adjusts the maximum rotor speed and balances accordingly. The Auto-Lock III Rotor System ensures secure and easy push-button rotor installation. The user-friendly microprocessor controls, located at the front, allow for easy programming with up to 99 slots for user-defined protocols. The system guides users through setup, including acceleration, deceleration, speed, temperature, and time settings. Additionally, the X1R features 5 programmable quick access buttons for the most frequently used protocols, saving you time and enhancing efficiency.
