Shearwater Petrel is a brand new model of a Dive Computer, created by Shearwater Research. This advanced solution can boast about a number of benefits. The Petrel developers have managed to reduce the size of the tool by 40% as compared to the Shearwater Predator, at the same time keeping the convenient 2.4" full color,
high resolution
display. In addition to the improved design, Shearwater has enhanced the product with more processing power, and better display usage.
Another pleasant surprize is an ability to pick any AA size battery. From now on users will be able to choose from a
vider
range of battery options - from the current SAFT Lithium LS14500 to standard alkaline AA such as Duracell, or even
opn
in for the rechargeable batteries. Keep in mind that the dive time will depend on the selected battery.
Shearwater Petrel offers four Modes for you to choose from:
