    Description

For your consideration are 20 Eagle-Picher ingots plus two full and one half pieces that are unmarked if the buyer wants them. I don’t know what those three pieces are made of. The reason I said they were rare is because I could not find Eagle-Picher ingot online of this size, only 3-1/8” long. Total weight of all pieces: 28 pounds, 5 ounces unpacked. Measures approximately 13-1/2” long, 3/4” wide and 7/16” thick. These pieces are marked “The Eagle-Picher Lead Company” and decorated with a single star and eagle on either end as you can see in the gallery images.
A quick, partial history behind the company from an online source. Eagle-Picher started in 1842 as White Lead Company in Cincinnati, Ohio. It later became Eagle White Works in the 1850s. A merger with Picher Lead Company of Joplin, Missouri occurred in 1906. They evolved into Eagle Picher Industries and finally Eagle Picher Technologies. Eagle-Picher Technologies history as a battery manufacturer dates back to 1922. If I understood correctly, this is why I believe the ingots I’m selling are circa 1906-1922. You can learn more online and either agree or disagree with my interpretation. Eagle-Picher was a big manufacture of zinc and lead. I believe these are lead but again, I will have to leave it to the experts.
Condition: There is normal wear such as scratches, a few dings and I see no chips. There is a small piece missing on one of the Eagle-Picher ingot. On one of the unmarked ones, about one-half is missing.
