word processor with full functions including a serial port for transfer of files and a printer port with a full range of print functions. The DreamWriter also has an onboard calculator, world clock, calendar, and scheduler. They would be great for writing papers, reports, letters, or for practicing keyboard/typing skills (there is even a typing proficiency program with testing function loaded onto the DreamWriter - test yourself and see how many words per minute you can type)!

Each DreamWriter from this listing will also come with a brand new battery pack (your choice of Ni-Cd or Ni-MH - The posted price includes the Ni-Cad battery pack - if you want the Ni-MH battery pack let us know when you make your purchase and BEFORE you pay. Your price for the Ni-MH option will be higher than the posted price for the DreamWriter with the Ni-Cd battery pack and we will add this cost onto your invoice at checkout). The DreamWriter will also come with a new Lithium battery for backup memory and a new universal AC power adapter (power cord) to charge and power the DreamWriter.
The DreamWriter can be charged by an AC adapter or by a docking station. The school primarily used the docking stations to charge the computers. The docking stations hold 5 units per charging station and we have 12 charging docks with cables. The docking units for charging multiple units and the power supplies for the docking stations are going to be included

The blue/purple coloration shown on the left half of the LCD screen in many of the photos is from the lighting in the school - the screens do not have any discoloration (they are as you see in photo #2).
