Moravian Lamb of God Tile - Angus Dei

Angus Dei, The Lamb of God, represents the victorious Jesus Christ and is a symbol of the Moravian Church.  In the Old Testament Isaiah calls the expected Messiah "The Lamb of God". When John the Baptist meets Jesus he declares, "Behold, the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world". (John 1:29)
Many people identify this symbol with the Victory that comes from courage, resilience, and a trust in a Higher Power. They have become conquerors in their own private battles. They have summoned a Strength that surprised everyone ..... sometimes even themselves.
My tiles are all done in the Arts & Crafts tradition. I learned my centuries-old techniques at the Moravian Pottery and Tile Works and I
personally create every tile that I sell.
This tile measures about 4.25 inches square and is about 3/8 of an inch thick.    It is hand painted with my soft green satin glaze.  All of my tiles are frost proof and safe for outdoor applications.
