Macintosh Portable M5120 Re-capped, Working order.
Hard drive not working, but included.
No AC power adapter.
No battery (6v and 9v): I used a lead acid 6v 4.5 ah battery. The positive end is on the left side of the battery bay.
This computer needs to have both batteries to work. Can’t just run on external ac adapter.
There is very light mark on the top cover. Please see the picture.
The display looks great, but it will turn darker after about 2 hrs of usage. It will return back to normal once it has been off for 1/2 hr or so. I think the active TFT itself is getting old. Since i don’t use it long enough, it doesn’t bother me, but you should know about it.

Strongly suggest to get a memory card. It is very limited what it can do with 1 or 2 MB. I used a Mac Effect 8MB card. When running on System 7.5.5, the computer will have 1+8 MB of memory.
Getting the hard drive to work with this machine is very tricky. First, you will need a 34 to 50 pin connector then find a drive that doesn’t draw too much power. SCSI2SD is a good choice. I usually just boot up with an external drive (Zip drive, SCSI drive, cd-rom).
