Description

An oldie here. Kershaw 1450 Sapphire with blue anodized titanium handle, stainless steel liners and lock tab.
New old stock, near mint due to a spot on the mark side of the handle. Mint otherwise.

The blade is AUS-8 steel with a full-flat grind and thumb stud openers.
Reversible tip-up/down clip for right hand carry.
Box shows some signs of storage wear.
The Kershaw Sapphire was introduced in 2006.
It was listed as a premium pocketknife with the blade steel upgraded to AUS8A.
Also in the premium group was the Kershaw Splinter and the Kershaw Nakamura, with a clad VG10 blade and Mokume bolsters.
