    Description

    Thanks for looking, this is a full kit of components to build the open source "EPROM Emulator NG" as described on
    https://mygeekyhobby.com.
    EPROM emulator can be used when writing code for older 8 bit computers, like the Commodore, Atari, Tandy and similar. It will be handy when doing experiments with old Z80 or 8051 microprocessors/microcontrollers that don't support flash memory and use EPROMs instead.
    The device is open-source, and all design details can be found on my website https://mygeekyhobby.com.
    It will come with parts for DIP28 emulator probe that supports
    2764-27512
    EPROM memory. (note: it is possible to also support 24 pin devices like
    2716 or 2732
    by keeping the top 4 pins of the 28pin emulator probe unplugged, power would have to be provided by the USB cable).
    There is now an experimental firmware version that brings support for the popular EEPROM memory (28C64 and 28C256), I have reports from users successfully emulating 28C256 on Ben Eter BE6502 SBC and others similar systems that use EEPROM.
    What is included in the purchase:
    * Brand new PCB ver 2.1 (
    note: as of 17-Jan-2020 the kit is based on single, larger SRAM
    )
    * Full set of components, and sockets for all integrated circuits.
    * All parts required to build the DIP28 Emulator cable.
    * 3D printed "base plate" with screws and rubber feet.
    * Software and firmware is open source and can be found on my website.
    Note: This is a kit of parts, you will have to assemble it by yourself (last picture shows the device assembled for reference only). To get it going you will need to download the software from my website, you will need to provide your own mini usb cable (for the arduino nano).
    Will ship USPS in USA (if your location in USA is outside of normal USPS service please reach out to me for updated postage fees before you check out)
    Outside USA I use eBay International Standard Delivery. Import duties and any other relevant taxes are buyer's responsibility.
