Compaq Presario 5150 K6-2 350MHz ATI RAGE DOS and Windows 98 Retro Gaming

Description

This classic 90's beauty is the Compaq Presario 5150. It features an AMD K6-2 350 MHz CPU, paired with a generous 128 MB of RAM. The graphics are powered by the ATI Rage LT Pro chipset which have very early OpenGL support, 8 MB of GPU RAM (expandable to 16 MB: Yes there is a slot on the motherboard just for graphics RAM!). These are real screen shots of this computer running GL Quake and Quake II running in OpenGL mode!
PCM sound is provided by an ESS AudioDrive ES1869F. This soundcard setup has excellent Adlib music emulation, thanks to the ESFM generator.
The original 8 GB Quantum BigFoot hard drive is present and has been fully surface tested with no errors whatsoever. We've fully restored the ORIGINAL Compaq system setup: OS, drivers, and all the bloatware from 1998 have been lovingly restored, just as Compaq intended! To make things a little easier, I've updated Windows 98, to Windows 98 SE and installed a modern USB Flash Drive Driver, Just plop in any flash drive formatted to FAT32 and Windows 98 will be able to use it.
Surprisingly, for a computer that was manufactured in the mid 90's, this PC has onboard Ethernet. This Windows 98 machine can get online with a standard ethernet cable; that screenshot of Internet Explorer loading up Google is really this computer! BBS to your heart's content, over Telnet! I've also setup a shared folder so you can copy over files from a modern PC. On Windows 10 you'll need to enable "SMB 1.0/CIFS File Sharing" but once you do you'll see this Compaq's shared folder on your network at "\computer\shared"
Everything needed to be up and running has been done. The unit has been thoroughly cleaned and tested. The old BIOS battery has been replaced with a new battery. All of the capacitors have been inspected and are in great condition. Everything works as it should. The best performing ATI driver for OpenGL, has been installed. Pure DOS drivers for the Sound Card, CD-ROM and Mouse have been installed. We've also installed some classic DOS games!
Everything you need for classic DOS and Windows 9x gaming is here, you will only need to supply your own monitor and speakers as this PC will include a PS/2 Keyboard, PS/2 Mouse, power cable and new classic blue mouse pad.
Additionally, Restore CDs are included. So, if you accidentally bork it, you can easily restore to a factory installation!
