    I think it’s a really nice place to put the dog. Mine didn’t like being in a kids trailer pulled behind the bike at all, but she loves to ride so it works great.
    *Note* A bracket is required in order to mount the carrier to the bicycle. Last i checked the company sells replacement mounting brackets for pretty cheap.
    The floor of the carrier for the dogs paws is a black foam such as might be expected in a padded floor mat. Plenty of traction.
